The Full Groom and Pampering Session Includes:
A consultation to discuss your dogs needs & required hair cut.
Doggie M.O.T~ to assess the skin for any sign of skin sores,lumps,external parasites & coat condition
Coat brushed out to remove minor knots,tangles and dead hair.
Dogs are thoroughly washed and conditioned with top quality products which are appropriate for your dog.
Firstly toweled off,then a high-velocity dryer to massage the skin, then with a stand dryer to finish.
( No cage dryers or drying cabinets are used )
Scissored, clipped, styled and shaped to suit you dog
Dogs styled to breed standard or owners preference.
Sanitary trim to bottom and privet area.
Eye cleaning / whitening.
Ears cleaned & plucked (if neccessary.)

Daisy feels the heat, so with this much undercoat removed, she will be a lot cooler and won't leave hair all over the house.Daisy was bathed and totaly brushed 3 weeks before this photo. The anti-shedding treatment removes more undercoat than brushing can.The hair is not cut. the under coat is removed leaving a shiny and healthy coat, and a very happy, cooler Daisy.

DE MATTING
At Trim Pets I try not put dogs through the stressful and sometimes painful process of brushing out heavily matted coats.
With matted dogs the kindest way to deal with them is to clip the dog short and I can advise you how to maintain your dogs coat as it grows back.
When an extremely matted coat is clipped off, it oftens comes off in one piece, like a sheeps fleece.
If dogs Nails are not cut often enough they will get to long.They can brake off too short resulting in pain, get pulled right out of the nail bed resulting in pain or like the nail in the photo on the left. This nail grew so long that it went round and grew back into the toe pad resulting in a great deal of pain, the toe was swollen and full of puss and needed a visit to the vet.
